At intraHouse, we work closely with several institutions. One of these is PROEXCA of the Canary Islands, which is responsible for promoting the internationalization of companies based on the Canary Islands, strengthening the support received by these companies and attracting investment in strategic sectors to the islands.
As part of our relationship with PROEXCA, we sometimes have the opportunity to welcome PROEXCA graduates to the intraHouse team. Team members Divya and Irina are great examples of our collaboration with PROEXCA. They have been with us now for four and three years, respectively. Divya spent a year in Ålesund and Irina spent a year in Silicon Valley before joining the team on Gran Canaria.
Our latest addition is Fernando Martínez, who recently joined the team in Ålesund from his home on Gran Canaria after successfully completing PROEXCA’s international internship program. Fernando’s background is in business and law; areas of expertise that are always useful in a growing, global company.
During his first weeks, Fernando has been getting to grips with intraHouse proprietary technologies, including intra.work, which is a social intranet and extranet platform that combines collaboration and project management tools for businesses. intra.work streamlines communications, unifies teams and makes project management simple and transparent thanks to features such as activity walls, direct messaging service, file storage, search options, group and event creation, project management, and much more. intra.work is undergoing a redesign, which we’ll be ready to release shortly.
Fernando comments: “I’d like to thank PROEXCA for its international program and for the opportunity to work with a growing, global company such as intraHouse. I was delighted when I heard I was coming to Norway. The experience of living and working in a different country is hugely valuable. I get to improve my English, learn about Norwegian culture and learn what it takes to be part of a dynamic, global team.”
A huge thanks to PROEXCA from all of us here at intraHouse for the continued support and willingness to collaborate.
