intraHouse is once again sponsoring BEST from 31 January to 11 February 2017 when together with BEST Las Palmas – the organization of technology students of ULPGC – will welcome 22 of Europe’s best engineering students to the island for a two-week program designed to equip the technical talent with the tools they need to take their studies and careers to the next level.
The joint intraHouse and BEST Las Palmas project: “shAPPing your odds: take your business to the clouds” will include master classes in entrepreneurship and the use of one of intraHouse’s latest technologies OneMobileTool and the online peer to peer community #ShapingtheOdds.
During their time in Las Palmas, the 22 students who come from Europe’s top universities will attend different theoretical sessions as well as practical workshops to learn with professionals how to develop their business idea from scratch to launch.
In addition, the crème de la crème of Europe’s technical talent will have the opportunity to get to know the islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, courtesy of Fred Olsen Express who is sponsoring the travel between the two islands for the 22 students, and learn about the opportunities for developing their studies and careers.
BEST Las Palmas is one of 96 groups of the Board of European Students of Technology, an international organization with the vision of empowering diversity through the development of students by creating great synergy between youth, universities and businesses. BEST serves more than two million students every year via technology courses, engineering competitions and educational events.
